We are seeking an experienced fundraising strategist with experience in the UK, US, Switzerland, or Canada to advise us on realistic funding pathways for core operational costs.

Rather than purely technical writing support, we are looking for someone who can help us think strategically about positioning, funder targeting, relationship-building approaches, and sustainable routes to support paid Afghan women coordinators. Deliverables may include refining our case for support, identifying aligned funding ecosystems, advising on donor engagement strategy, and recommending practical next steps based on their regional knowledge and networks.
Securing funding for paid coordinators will stabilize operations so Afghan women coordinators are retained, safeguarding and continuity of online education are preserved, and students barred from school can continue to access English education, mentorship, and pathways to higher education and remote work. Volunteer support will directly enable these outcomes. We strongly prefer volunteers based in or deeply familiar with funding ecosystems in the US, UK, Switzerland, or Canada.
We can provide an impact summary, coordinator role descriptions, staff cost budgets, previous grant applications, and program/website materials. Our team will collaborate closely with the volunteer, review drafts, and use recommendations to move toward a sustainable paid coordinator model.
