Grant Proposal Toolkit
We want to create a grant-ready funding strategy with a reusable proposal toolkit that enables Tech Fleet to pursue workforce development, AI literacy, and economic mobility funding with clarity and confidence.
Specifically, we aim to co-create:
A prioritized grant pipeline aligned to our mission, programs, and growth goals
A core grant narrative (organizational story, program descriptions, outcomes, and equity lens) that can be adapted across funders
2–3 tailored grant applications or letters of intent for high-fit funders
A repeatable grant strategy framework our team can use to apply for grants beyond this project
This collaboration will result in practical, funder-ready assets that strengthen our long-term fundraising capacity and directly support program expansion.
Our team will actively submit grant applications during and immediately following the project, ensuring that the volunteer’s work leads to real funding opportunities. The strategy and templates developed will also support ongoing staff and volunteer efforts beyond the Taproot engagement.
We have secured internal alignment and leadership buy-in around our funding priorities, target programs, and growth goals. A dedicated team member will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the engagement, ensuring continuity, timely feedback, and clear decision-making.
All relevant materials will be provided upfront in easily shareable formats (Figma and Google Docs), including organizational narratives, program descriptions, and any existing grant drafts. We will also supply specific proposal and application guidelines for priority funders so the volunteer can focus immediately on strategy and execution rather than information gathering.
We have intentionally scoped this project to match Taproot Plus best practices: clear deliverables, realistic timelines, and regular check-ins. The project outputs will be directly implemented by our team to drive near-term funding applications and long-term sustainability.
