A concise research brief that summarizes demographic distribution of adults 65+ in the organization's service area, assesses alignment with the NIH and our organization target objective, provides a sample-justification outline addressing inclusion of NIH-required diverse populations. Details will be provided.

This research will strengthen grant applications so the organization can secure funding to protect seniors from neglect, abuse, and fraud. Volunteers will help ensure sample justifications and population inclusions are accurate and equitable, improving services for older adults across our service area.

Details will be provided to volunteers during interviews (service area boundaries and current grant text). Volunteers will have access to necessary materials and a point of contact for questions. Volunteer will also collaborate with other team members. We will review and incorporate the brief into upcoming grant applications within the short project timeline.
