Help select and configure a low-cost, out-of-the-box mobile/web app (for example Mighty) and launch an MVP for June events. Tasks include platform setup, setting up event schedule and location-based day-of details, basic resources and partner listings, and guidance for a soft launch. Specific content and priorities will be discussed with volunteers.
This app will give the LGBTQ+ community of LA an accessible, centralized way to find safe event information, local resources, and partner services during our parade and festival. Volunteers will directly support community engagement, inclusion, and stronger connections between attendees and partners.
We have a 12-week timeline and a clear soft-launch goal for June. The volunteer will work with our team to prioritize MVP features, review examples we've seen, and coordinate through regular check-ins. Details, access, and final content will be provided during volunteer interviews to ensure a smooth launch.
