Inclusive Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding Strategy Planning

Help us recruit mission-driven leaders to our nonprofit! We are seeking a volunteer to help us craft a comprehensive recruitment plan. Project tasks will include:

- Development of the first draft of an inclusive recruitment strategy that includes clear tactics for reaching candidates representative of the community that we're serving and who meet our current needs. Currently, we have a spreadsheet that needs constant maintenance and structure.
- Meeting with our organization's leadership to establish which roles are vacant
- Reviewing current recruitment pipelines and materials.
- Recommending a structure or workflow for tracking candidates (improving or replacing our current spreadsheet system).

[Optional: Conducting interviews with potential volunteers for various departments (i.e., HR, programming, strategy, special events)].

Volunteers and interns are the foundation of the organization. It is pivotal that we have a structure for interested parties to learn more about Dream Academy if they want to serve in a leadership capacity or if they want to participate for events only (i.e., setting up for day of event).

We will designate a team member to lead the project and work with the volunteer. We'll provide you with relevant information about our stakeholders and a background briefing on our programs, mission, vision, and purpose. You will have access to relevant materials and our current recruitment pipelines.
