We are seeking a volunteer to support the Spring 2026 social media capacity build-out for Swim Across America – Seattle (March–May). This Project will focus on developing and organizing a structured social media content plan to guide our team during this period.

The volunteer will:
Create and populate a Spring 2026 content calendar for defined platforms
Develop and refine a set of draft posts aligned with campaign goals
Establish a simple performance tracking framework tied to pre-determined metrics
Provide brief recommendations to strengthen content planning and team workflow

This engagement is focused on building tools, structure, and guidance for the Spring campaign rather than ongoing social media management. Specific platforms, cadence, and goals will be provided during onboarding.
Stronger social media will boost awareness and community engagement for Swim Across America's charity swims, helping attract support and participation that enable grants for cancer research, clinical trials, detection, and patient programs. Volunteers will directly support outreach, fundraising, and volunteer recruitment.
Success will come from regular collaboration with the existing Seattle social media team; volunteers will be able to review the current calendar and assets. The volunteer will document recommended workflows and hand off sustainable practices. Details and access requirements will be provided.
