We’re looking for a new bookkeeper/accountant to help us transition from our previous volunteer bookkeeper. Our accounting is currently done on QuickBooks. At the minimum we need someone for a few weeks to help us integrate! Our current bookkeeper only spends a few hours per month on our tasks.

Placer Nature Center is a small nonprofit with a small budget, with two staff members and a large team of volunteers. We provide environmental education to youth and families in the Sierra Foothills and can spend more time doing that if we don’t have to spend so much time on accounting!

Kira Greene, the Executive Director, wants to learn and support with the necessary protocol. There are only two staff members to do payroll for.
