About the Opportunity

We would like to develop a structured grant readiness and grant writing framework that strengthens our ability to secure institutional funding. Specifically, we aim to create core grant language, a funding prospect pipeline, and a repeatable system for preparing and submitting competitive proposals.

With the support of a skilled volunteer, we hope to create:
A compelling case for support narrative
Standardized grant language (mission, programs, impact, need statement)
A grant prospect research list aligned with our priorities
A grant calendar with deadlines and responsibilities
A basic evaluation and outcomes framework for proposals
A grant budget template aligned with program costs
Our goal is to move from reactive grant seeking to a strategic, organized

A strong grant writing framework directly supports our mission by increasing access to sustainable funding. Institutional funding will allow us to expand services, invest in program quality, and serve our community more effectively.

By strengthening our grant development capacity, we will be able to:
Increase program reach and accessibility
Fund new initiatives aligned with community need
Build financial stability
Enhance program evaluation and impact measurement
Reduce reliance on inconsistent revenue sources

This project builds the infrastructure necessary to secure funding that fuels mission-driven growth and long-term impact.

We will assign a dedicated project lead to coordinate communication and gather required documentation. Leadership will participate in strategy discussions and provide timely feedback on drafts.

Before the project begins, we will compile program data, impact metrics, financial information, prior proposals (if available), and organizational background materials. This preparation will allow volunteers to clearly understand our programs and funding needs.

We will establish clear milestones, deliverables, and review timelines at the beginning of the engagement. Leadership is committed to implementing the systems and templates developed during the project to ensure long-term sustainability beyond the initial engagement.
