SEO Audit & Recommendations: Helping Families Find Us
Good Dog! Service Canines would like to partner with an SEO specialist to conduct a comprehensive on-page SEO audit of our website and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
As we expand our new Train-Your-Own (TYO) service dog program — created to help address the growing shortage of autism service dogs for children and families — we want to ensure families searching online can actually find trustworthy education and support.
Our goal is to improve search visibility so that parents navigating this journey can access accurate, experience-based information and understand their options.
We are seeking an audit that evaluates key on-page SEO elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, content structure, internal links, URLs, duplicate content, image optimization, ALT tags, site speed, and overall crawlability/indexing.
The volunteer would then provide an implementation roadmap that includes both quick wins our team can apply immediately and longer-term recommendations to strengthen organic search performance over time.
Important: We are not seeking a website redesign — this project focuses only on SEO strategy and recommendations.
This project will help ensure that families searching online for autism service dog information can find trustworthy, educational resources and clear guidance instead of misinformation or confusion. Improving our SEO will allow us to reach more families earlier in their decision-making process, provide realistic education about service dog options, and ultimately support better long-term outcomes for children, adults, and their dogs.
By strengthening our online visibility, we can expand access to knowledge, reduce barriers to entry, and further our mission of empowering families through education, guidance, and ethical service dog support.
Our team is highly collaborative and ready to engage in regular communication throughout the project. We can provide clear context about our programs, target audiences, and recent expansion into our Train-Your-Own (TYO) service dog offering so your recommendations align with our strategy and mission.
We are committed to implementing recommendations and can dedicate internal time to applying quick fixes and using the final roadmap to guide longer-term SEO improvements.
