We're seeking a volunteer to help us maximize our Google Ad Grant. This project will play a key role in our organization's ability to grow brand awareness and impact community members. This project may include the following activities:
-Development of or updates to our nonprofit's Google Ads strategy
-Training one or two staff members on how to update Google Ads and monitor their performance
-Setting up integration between Google Ads and Google Analytics
-Making recommendations for future search engine optimization or content management projects that will improve our Google Ads health

Our ideal volunteer has experience with Google Ads and/or search engine marketing and copywriting skills.
The KCNQ2 Cure Alliance is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children and families affected by KCNQ2-related disorders, a rare genetic condition that can cause early-onset epilepsy and severe developmental disabilities. Our mission is to accelerate research, support families, and ensure clinicians have access to accurate information about this disorder.

Many families and clinicians searching online for information about rare epilepsy genes struggle to find reliable resources. Through the Google Ad Grant, we have an opportunity to connect people searching for answers with trustworthy educational content, family support resources, and research initiatives on our website.

This project will help us set up and optimize our Google Ad Grant so that when parents, physicians, and caregivers search for information about KCNQ2-related disorders, they can quickly find our resources. Increased visibility will help families feel less alone, guide them toward knowledgeable clinicians, and raise awareness that can accelerate research and treatment development.

By helping us build this digital outreach strategy, volunteers will directly support families navigating a rare and often isolating diagnosis and help expand access to life-changing information and support.
To prepare, we have activated Google Ads for our website and secured a Google Ad Grant award. We are prepared to share the login credentials to our Google Workspace. In our first session together, we'll brief you on our marketing goals, as well as our mission, vision, and purpose. Your training of our team members on Google Ads best practices will help ensure the long-term successful implementation of the great work you share with us.
