We are a classical music nonprofit based in New York. Currently we are looking to identify up to 20 grants to apply for which would allow us to grow in terms of outreach and community enrichment. We are very excited to share classical music with the local New York community.

We would greatly appreciate assistance in helping us locate grants that we could apply for as well as providing assistance in the application process. We have a handful of board members currently willing to assist with the development of our outreach program but given the small size of our organisation all assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Our nonprofit is a small group of dedicated music lovers. Our board is in agreement on the importance of community enrichment and we are willing to invest the time and energy to help our organisation grow. We are interested in sharing classical music in public venues, outreach opportunities in schools, and by providing others with the opportunity to study music.

Located in one of the world's most brilliant centers for the performing arts and committed to the flourishing of some of the most beautiful music ever made, The Viola da Gamba Society of Greater New York has a thrilling mission and an incredible community. Members of the VdGS/GNY include renowned performers, recording artists, pedagogues, luthiers, amateur musicians, pre-professional students, enthusiastic audience members, and children. Through a variety of programs including educational events, scholarships, and an instrument rental program, the VdGS/GNY brings these gifted and fascinating people together to support their enjoyment and work on behalf of our beloved instrument, the viola da gamba.
