FutureSouth Foundation is launching a four-county AI workforce pilot in Northeast Mississippi. We are seeking a program design expert to help us build a structured implementation plan covering cohort structure, curriculum sequencing, employer workflow integration, participant milestones, and a measurement framework for tracking outcomes. The deliverable is a documented pilot design we can execute against and present to funders.

Our program design partner would help us define the program activities and create a logic model that outlines the cause-and-effect relationships between program inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes. We would also define the human and financial resources (budget) required to implement the program, along with any monitoring and evaluation mechanisms necessary to assess the effectiveness of the program.
FSF's core thesis is that rural AI workforce development fails when it only addresses training supply. The binding constraint is employer adoption — and adoption happens at the point of hire when a certified worker already knows the workflow. A rigorous pilot design is the mechanism that proves this thesis with documented evidence. Without it, we cannot make credible claims to funders, licensing partners, or regional workforce boards. This is not a side project — it is the foundation everything downstream depends on.
We enter this engagement with some of the groundwork already completed. Employer partners are confirmed across logistics, automotive, and municipal government. Workflow focus areas — invoice review, procurement auditing, compliance documentation, and scheduling optimization — are defined.

We understand that designing a new program is an iterative process and will commit to continuous learning, flexibility, and to providing direct, honest feedback. We view this program design process as a priority and will make all staff available along with information about our current programs and their beneficiaries.
