A practical 2026 fundraising plan to expand outreach to small-dollar donors ($25–$1,000). The volunteer will review our email approach, recommend acquisition channels and segmentation, propose messaging frameworks, and outline an implementation timeline with success metrics. Specifics will be defined with volunteers during interviews.

Expanding our small-dollar donor base will increase the number and size of grants we can award to organizations that directly support patients and caregivers, helping improve quality of life for people facing serious or chronic illness.

We track revenue sources and know over the past two years more than 40% of funds came from small-dollar email solicitations; operating costs are extremely small and most revenue funds grants. Details and historical giving data, sample emails, and context will be provided so volunteers can design actionable recommendations.
