Help H.O.P.E. strengthen and submit grant applications to funders identified through our grant research efforts. You will work directly with our Executive Director to draft, edit, and refine applications, ensuring our program descriptions, outcomes, and budgets are clearly and compellingly presented to funders. Deliverables include polished applications ready for submission and reusable templates for boilerplate sections like organizational background and mission statements.
By strengthening and submitting strong grant applications, this volunteer will directly help H.O.P.E. secure the funding needed to sustain and grow our near-peer mentorship program for 7th–8th grade student-athletes in Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD. This work translates our mission, Habits, Ownership, Purpose, and Execution, into compelling stories funders can invest in, freeing our staff to focus on program delivery.
The Executive Director will serve as the primary point of contact and collaborate regularly with the volunteer. We will provide program descriptions, financials, and a prioritized list of grant prospects with deadlines. Volunteer drafts will be reviewed and finalized by our team before submission.
