About the Opportunity

We want to create a high-impact, professional 2-minute "Explainer and Hero Video" for our nonprofit. This asset will launch our live presentation on stage in San Diego and permanently live as the primary "Hero Video" embedded at the very top of our official website homepage.

We have a finalized, evergreen script ready to go, and we want to give you maximum artistic freedom to bring it to life. Aside from one specific visual concept, we want you to run with your own style, pacing, and creative direction.

We are looking for a video editor to collaborate with us for roughly 3 to 5 hours per week over a 1-to-2-week period on the following:

Our Single Design Request: To visually represent our reach, we need one specific custom graphic or animation integrated into the video: a graphic of a globe slowly spinning, with red dots appearing across it to show where our members are located.

Creative Freedom & B-Roll Sourcing: Outside of the spinning globe, you have total creative ownership. We need you to source and intertwine high-quality medical, laboratory, and mobile health B-roll footage that matches your vision for our narrative.

The "Mute" Optimization: Because over 80% of website header videos are watched on mute, we need your help designing bold, clear, and elegant on-screen text typography for the opening 20 seconds so visitors instantly grasp the hook.

Sound Design: Find and mix an inspiring, professional background music track that builds momentum and drives viewers toward our call to action.

Web Optimization: Export the final piece into a compressed, web-optimized MP4 file so it doesn't slow down our website's loading speed or hurt our Google SEO.

The Global Adrenal Testing Consortium (GATC) is a patient-led 501(c)(3) research organization. Our mission is bridging the gap between emerging cortisol technologies and real-world clinical care to improve safety and outcomes for the global adrenal insufficiency community.

Healthcare currently relies on static, single-moment lab draws, creating dangerous diagnostic blind spots for conditions where real-time data is a matter of life and death. Just as Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) revolutionized diabetes management, GATC is driving the open-access validation framework to transition endocrinology into the era of continuous biochemical tracking. This technology is here and ready for trials. The GATC will determine if and how it will work for those who no longer produce their own cortisol but rely solely on steroids to stay alive.

The Strategic Impact of This Video:

This explainer video is a high-stakes tool that will pull triple duty to scale our mission:

Investor & Funder Pitches: It will serve as our core visual asset to secure capital from institutional philanthropists and health tech funders.

The Stage in San Diego: It will launch our presentation to leading global health innovators and stakeholders.

Our Digital Front Door: It will live as our website's Homepage Hero video to instantly onboard new partners.

Your Impact as a Volunteer:
By donating your skills, you help us translate a sophisticated, decentralized scientific framework into a crisp, high-impact visual narrative. Your execution—including our single design request of a slowly spinning globe adding red dots to highlight our international impact—will visually demonstrate a powerful, highly organized global research network to funders and clinicians alike. We have the data, the institutional partnerships, and the roadmap; we just need your design precision to help us scale.

We will give you the finalized script, a clear breakdown of our mission, and total open communication. If you are a designer who wants a project where you can truly own the visual strategy, pitch your own ideas, and build something meaningful for global health from the ground up, we would love to partner with you!
