Fundraising & Revenue Diversification Strategy
We are looking for a strategic roadmap that assesses our current fundraising capacity and provides practical recommendations for building a diversified funding model. The volunteer will help identify and prioritize sustainable revenue opportunities, including foundation grants, corporate sponsorships, individual giving, recurring donations, fundraising campaigns, special events, and other philanthropic funding sources that align with our mission.
The volunteer will also provide recommendations for strengthening our fundraising infrastructure, including donor stewardship, fundraising goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), Board engagement in fundraising, and an annual fundraising calendar.
The primary deliverable will be a written Fundraising & Revenue Diversification Strategy with prioritized recommendations, implementation timelines, and actionable next steps that our Board of Directors and leadership team can implement over the next 24–36 months.
By partnering with a skilled volunteer, we will gain a long-term roadmap that strengthens our ability to secure diverse funding, invest in organizational capacity, and reduce reliance on any single revenue source. This strategy will help us sustain and grow programs such as Legacy Lane Care, which provides health and wellness initiatives, food and nutrition support, caregiver resources, and community outreach throughout Northeast Arkansas.
The volunteer’s expertise will directly contribute to building a stronger organization capable of serving more individuals, developing new community partnerships, and expanding our impact for years to come. Rather than supporting a single project, this work will help establish the financial foundation needed to ensure that every legacy deserves care.
We have already invested in building our organizational capacity through strategic planning, governance development, professional website redesign, and community partnerships. We have also successfully secured grant funding and in-kind support from organizations such as AARP, Walmart Spark Good, and 4imprint, demonstrating our commitment to building a sustainable organization.
We will provide the volunteer with access to our strategic plan, organizational documents, fundraising history, current funding priorities, and relevant financial information. Our Executive Director will serve as the primary point of contact, ensure timely communication, and coordinate feedback from leadership and the Board throughout the project.
Upon completion, the Fundraising & Revenue Diversification Strategy will be formally reviewed by our Board of Directors and integrated into our annual organizational planning and fundraising efforts. The recommendations will serve as the roadmap for strengthening our fundraising infrastructure and expanding our impact across Northeast Arkansas.
