Transition to QuickBooks Online and Optimize Financial Workflows

Our goal is to successfully transition Globe Aware from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online and establish efficient bookkeeping processes that will serve the organization for years to come.

We are looking for an experienced nonprofit accounting professional who can help us:
Plan and oversee our migration from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Design an efficient bookkeeping workflow that fits a small nonprofit.
Recommend practical internal controls and financial procedures.
Configure and integrate the QuickBooks Payroll module with our accounting system.
Help us determine which bookkeeping and payroll tasks can be handled internally and which tasks should be outsourced, with the goal of keeping administrative costs low while maintaining sound financial practices.
By creating an efficient accounting system, we hope to spend less time and money on administrative work so that more of our resources can be directed toward our volunteer programs and the communities we serve.

As a small nonprofit that is almost entirely volunteer led, every dollar we save on administrative costs is a dollar that can be invested in our programs - one more home for an indigent family in Kenya, one more concrete foundation for a single teen mom in Guatemala, another wheelchair for a landmine victim in Cambodia. Your expertise will help us modernize our accounting systems so we can operate more efficiently, strengthen our financial stewardship, and devote more resources to the international volunteer and community development programs that have been at the heart of Globe Aware's mission for more than two decades. Your contribution will leave us with systems that continue benefiting the organization, and the communities we serve, for years to come. We have been operating for over 20 years with Quickbooks with a traditional bookkeeper on desktop setting, she is retiring and she has been fairly high cost. We now intend to pay for and set up the cloud based Quickbooks directly - rather than paying her for software. We are up to date on all of our accounting/filings/reporting and all are available on Guidestar.
