About the Opportunity

One World Family is seeking a skilled volunteer to help us identify and prioritise potential funders, sponsors and strategic partners for the One World Family Summit and global livestream planned for December 2026.

The initiative connects children, families, schools, experts, artists and institutions across Europe, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Asia. It addresses urgent challenges affecting children, including anxiety, isolation, digital addiction, weakened family relationships and the prevention of violence against children. Our East + West project has already connected 213 children through the creation of 2 collaborative artworks.

The primary objective of this project is to build a practical stakeholder pipeline that can lead directly to financial support for the Summit and its year-round programmes.

We need the volunteer to:

* identify corporate sponsors, foundations, grant-making institutions, philanthropists, family offices and strategic funding partners;
* research their funding priorities, previous partnerships and alignment with One World Family;
* identify relevant decision-makers and publicly available contact information;
* assess each prospect’s potential financial value, strategic relevance and likelihood of engagement;
* divide prospects into priority levels;
* recommend the most suitable fundraising or sponsorship approach for each stakeholder category;
* create an actionable outreach plan for the strongest prospects.

The final deliverable should be a verified and prioritised stakeholder database, ideally containing 20–30 high-potential prospects, with:

* organisation and decision-maker details;
* funding focus and geographic reach;
* reason for alignment with One World Family;
* estimated partnership potential;
* recommended funding request or sponsorship angle;
* priority level;
* suggested next action.

We are not looking for a general list of organisations. We need focused research that helps us understand who to approach first, how to approach them and how to secure funding for the December 2026 Summit, global livestream and practical programmes supporting children and families.

The project should be achievable within a limited engagement of approximately 5 volunteer hours per week over several weeks.

This project will directly support 1SIGN Foundation’s mission to connect children, families, schools and communities across East and West and to turn awareness of children’s challenges into practical international action.

One World Family responds to urgent issues affecting children today, including anxiety, isolation, digital addiction, weakened family relationships and the need for stronger child-protection systems. Our East + West initiative has already brought together 213 children from Europe and Hong Kong through 2 collaborative artworks and a shared message of connection and responsibility.

The next major step is the One World Family Summit and global livestream planned for December 2026, followed by year-round educational, cultural and social-impact programmes. These activities are intended to support child protection, mental and digital wellbeing, stronger families, youth participation and international cooperation between Europe, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Asia.

To make this possible, we need to identify the right financial partners. The volunteer’s research will help us find and prioritise corporate sponsors, foundations, philanthropists, family offices and strategic partners whose funding interests align with our mission.

Their work will have a practical and immediate impact by helping our team:

* focus limited fundraising capacity on the strongest prospects;
* approach the correct decision-makers with relevant proposals;
* secure funding for the December 2026 Summit and global livestream;
* develop sustainable support for programmes continuing throughout the year;
* expand the project beyond the original 213 children to more families, schools and communities internationally.

This is not research that will remain in a report. The completed stakeholder pipeline will be used immediately for fundraising outreach, partnership meetings and tailored funding proposals.

By contributing their research and business-development expertise, the volunteer will help transform the children’s message from 2 paintings into real programmes, international collaboration and long-term support for children and families.

We have prepared this project carefully so the volunteer can focus on high-value research rather than spending time trying to understand the organisation from the beginning.

The project has direct leadership support from the Founder and Chairman of 1SIGN Foundation, who will serve as the main point of contact, provide timely feedback and make decisions throughout the engagement.

We have already prepared:

* a clear description of the One World Family Summit 2026 and its global livestream;
* information about the East + West initiative involving 213 children from Europe and Hong Kong;
* the Summit’s social-impact priorities, including child protection, anxiety, isolation, digital wellbeing and stronger family relationships;
* preliminary programme, fundraising and sponsorship concepts;
* project presentations, budgets, background materials and partner information;
* initial stakeholder categories covering corporate sponsors, foundations, philanthropists, family offices, media, technology, hospitality, education and child-focused organisations;
* a structured outline of the information we need for each prospect.

We will provide the volunteer with a shared research template, clearly defined geographic and stakeholder priorities, access to relevant project materials and regular short check-ins. Feedback will be consolidated through one contact person so the volunteer is not receiving conflicting instructions from multiple team members.

The volunteer’s work will be implemented immediately. Our team will use the final stakeholder database to:

* prioritise the strongest funding prospects;
* tailor our sponsorship and philanthropic proposals;
* identify the correct decision-makers;
* begin direct outreach and meeting requests;
* track responses and next actions;
* build a longer-term fundraising pipeline for the Summit and year-round programmes.

We understand that the volunteer will contribute approximately 5 hours per week for a limited period. We will therefore keep the scope focused, respond quickly to questions and provide all available materials at the beginning of the project. Our objective is to be an organised, responsive and respectful pro bono partner whose team is ready to act on the volunteer’s recommendations.
