About the Opportunity

We need someone external to audit our accounts. Our total income/expenses is under 25K and we have been able to file a 990 EZ postcard.

The goal of the audit is to qualify for grants and foundations that make an audit a requirement. We would like to be able to apply to these to become more financially sustainable.

Our accounts are simple as we do not have payroll, for example.

We would need a financial statement audit with a compliance assessment.

The volunteer will help us be more financially sustainable in order to achieve our mission: share visual arts in innovative ways, particularly with underserved communities.

We have a lot of documentation to support this effort, and we believe they're prepared and ready to be audited.

Our receipts are organized in monthly folders. And our accounting is in google spreadsheets organized in various columns.

We have our bank activity for the year.
