About the Opportunity

We'd like to work with a pro bono consultant who can help us prepare our IRS Form 990 using our existing financial records and supporting documentation. The volunteer will review the information provided, prepare the appropriate Form 990 and required schedules, identify any questions or missing information needed to complete the return, and provide a filing-ready package for our organization to review and submit.

Expected deliverables include:

A completed draft of the appropriate IRS Form 990 and required schedules based on the financial information provided
A review of the completed return for completeness and alignment with IRS filing requirements
Brief notes identifying any outstanding questions, missing information, or recommended follow-up before filing
A final filing-ready Form 990 package for the organization to review and submit

An accurate, compliant 990 preserves transparency and donor confidence, helping AMR 4.2 maintain funding and operate programs that change how employers view adults on the Spectrum and increase employment opportunities. Volunteer expertise directly supports organizational credibility and program continuity.

The organization will provide its financial records and a designated point of contact, respond to volunteer questions, and collaborate on clarifications so the volunteer can complete the form on schedule.
