About the Opportunity

Peacemakers’ Alliance is growing its programming across multiple correctional and community settings, and our data systems and processes need to evolve accordingly. We use Salesforce to manage program and participant information and currently collect enrollment and attendance data, pre/post surveys, final written evaluations, and participant goal progress. However, we lack a consistent organization-wide framework for data collection, key metric definitions, and data management responsibilities. We also want to distinguish between internal management needs and reporting requirements from grants, contracts, and funders.

We seek a volunteer to help develop and begin implementing a practical program data and reporting framework. Key deliverables include:

1. A core metrics/data dictionary outlining the information we should consistently track, including definitions and measurement methods.

2. Recommendations for structuring these metrics within our existing Salesforce system.

3. Review and recommendations for existing data collection and evaluation tools, such as enrollment/intake forms, pre/post surveys, final evaluations, and goal-tracking tools, with refinement or development of priority tools where feasible within the project scope.

4. Targeted configuration or refinement of priority Salesforce fields, data-entry processes, and relevant reports or dashboards, where feasible within the project scope.

5. Documented workflows for data collection, entry, quality control, and staff responsibilities.

6. An implementation roadmap for future Salesforce, evaluation, or reporting improvements.

Organization Mission

Peacemakers’ Alliance exists to increase the human agency, literacy, and nonviolent conflict resolution skills of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated persons. Our experiential learning opportunities are designed to instill hope and healing in the lives of those we serve. United for peace and justice for all, we seek to build community, inspire growth, and empower others to step into life during and after incarceration as agents for peaceful change.
