About the Opportunity

Chasing the Rainbows has extensive foundation and corporate giving information already gathered in spreadsheets. We have contact lists, past applications, giving history, and relationship notes. But this information is scattered across multiple files. We need to consolidate and organize our EXISTING information into one centralized Monday.com system.

The Problem:
Foundation and corporate giving data is scattered across multiple spreadsheets. Development team wastes time searching through files instead of building relationships. Can't see complete funding pipeline. Can't track deadlines or past outcomes. No centralized place for relationship history.

What We Have:
Existing spreadsheets with foundation and corporate information
Contact information and program officer names
History of past applications and outcomes
Grant deadline information
Relationship notes and interaction history
Giving history and amounts

What We Need:
A centralized Monday.com system that organizes ALL our existing information into one accessible place. We're not researching new foundations - we're consolidating what we already know.

By the end of this 12-week project, we need Monday.com fully configured with all existing foundation and corporate giving information organized and imported.

Deliverable 1: Monday.com Setup and Data Structure
Complete Monday.com account setup with user roles and permissions for development team, email integration for deadline alerts. Configure database structure with fields for: organization name, contacts, program officer info, past applications, deadlines, giving history, relationship notes, and status tracking. Structure designed for foundations and corporate prospects.

Deliverable 2: Data Import from Existing Spreadsheets
Import all existing foundation and corporate spreadsheet data into Monday.com. Consolidate information from multiple spreadsheets. Resolve duplicate entries. Ensure all contact information, past applications, and relationship history transferred into organized database.

Deliverable 3: Deadline Tracking and Pipeline Visibility
Configure automated deadline tracking with 60/30/7-day alerts. Track application status (prospect/contacted/applied/awarded/declined) for each foundation. Organize past outcomes including decline reasons. Create dashboard showing full funding pipeline, upcoming deadlines, and past awards.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
All your existing foundation and corporate information in Monday.com. Team can instantly access any contact, deadline, or past application. Complete funding pipeline visible. Deadline tracking automated. Relationship history organized. Team builds relationships instead of searching spreadsheets.

That's 21,000 stillbirths and 24,000 infant losses annually in the United States alone, affecting over 1 million families each year. Yet pregnancy loss and infant loss remain some of the most under-discussed, under-resourced, under-supported health crises in America. The Isolation: Most grieving families are completely alone. They don't know where to turn. They can't afford therapy. They don't know other families who've experienced what they have. The grief is compounded by isolation, stigma, and the crushing weight of believing they're the only ones. The Cost: For families already devastated by loss, adding the financial burden of therapy, counseling, funeral costs, and support services is impossible. Mental health care is expensive. Funerals are expensive. Community is expensive. And so families grieve silently, without help, and often without hope. The Gap: There is no other nonprofit providing the breadth and depth of free, comprehensive support that pregnancy and infant loss families need. We fill that gap completely—removing every barrier to healing. No family should grieve alone. No family should pay to heal. And no million families experiencing pregnancy loss should have to search desperately for help that should be visible, accessible, and free. With your pro bono PR support, we can make sure every family that experiences pregnancy loss or infant loss knows Chasing the Rainbows exists and knows they're not alone. Together, we transform grief into healing. Together, we give hope back to families who've lost everything.
