About the Opportunity

Face Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Sugar Hill, Georgia dedicated to alleviating food insecurity and reducing health and educational disparities for youth, unemployed adults, and small business owners in the Gwinnett County corridor.

We are a fully virtual, all-volunteer organization that has grown rapidly over the past several months. With that growth has come a challenge we have not yet solved — bringing new volunteers into the foundation consistently and professionally so they contribute meaningfully from day one.

Right now every new volunteer who joins enters through an informal, inconsistent process. There is no standardized recruitment strategy attracting the right candidates to the right roles. There is no structured orientation introducing new volunteers to our mission, our platform, our expectations, and their specific role before their first task assignment. Volunteers are joining, receiving a title, and going quiet — not because they lack commitment but because nobody has given them a clear, structured path from acceptance to active contribution. That gap is costing us talent we cannot afford to lose.

A complete Volunteer Recruitment & Onboarding System — a structured, repeatable process our Recruitment and Onboarding department can execute independently from the moment a candidate applies through their first active contribution. The finished system includes a standardized intake and screening protocol, a role-specific orientation sequence, a Bitrix24 onboarding checklist, and a 30-day activation pathway that moves every new volunteer from accepted to actively contributing without manual intervention from the Executive Director. This engagement is fully self-contained and can begin immediately.
