About the Opportunity

Face Friends Foundation, Incorporated is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Sugar Hill, Georgia, building the Sugar Hill Workforce Academy — a community food pantry and wellness hub, a commercial culinary incubator kitchen, and a technical literacy lab serving the Gwinnett County corridor. Our mission is to break generational survival cycles by arming local residents with asset-backed tech and culinary skills so they can build self-sustaining lives, rather than dependent ones.

The challenge we are addressing is the absence of a professionally written Case for Support — the foundational fundraising document that tells our story in a way that moves serious funders, corporate partners, and major donors from interest to investment.

Without this document every grant application our Grants Director submits requires rewriting the foundation's story from scratch — producing inconsistent language, inconsistent impact framing, and inconsistent numbers across every submission.

Our Corporate Partnerships team is approaching $25,000 and $50,000 corporate sponsors with a one page overview that opens the conversation but cannot close it. Our major donor pipeline has no authoritative document to anchor a serious ask.

We have attempted to address this organically — building a Foundation One Pager, a Corporate Sponsorship Tier Structure, and individual grant narratives — but without Case for Support expertise these documents serve individual conversations rather than functioning as one integrated, authoritative fundraising narrative the entire team draws from consistently.

What is getting in the way of progress is the absence of a consultant with the specialized writing and fundraising expertise to take everything the foundation has built and shape it into a document that raises serious money.

By the end of this engagement the pro bono consultant will deliver one complete, professionally written Case for Support document specifically designed for Face Friends Foundation's current fundraising stage and target audiences.

The Case for Support will include:

1. The Foundation's Story: A compelling, authoritative narrative covering who Face Friends Foundation is, the problem it exists to solve in Gwinnett County, and why this organization is uniquely positioned to solve it.

2. Program Descriptions: Clear, funder-ready descriptions of each program — the Digital Online Academy, the Sugar Hill Workforce Academy, the community food pantry and wellness hub, the culinary incubator ghost kitchen, the technical literacy lab, and the Web Agency — written in language that connects each program to measurable community impact.

3. The Funding Case: A compelling argument for the $150,000 Phase 1 escrow target — what it funds, what it unlocks, and what the community loses if it is not reached by March 1, 2027.

4. Impact Metrics and Outcomes: Specific, credible impact statements showing what each dollar invested produces — participants served, skills developed, businesses launched, families moved toward self-sufficiency.

5. The Ask: A clear, confident closing ask tailored for three distinct audiences — grant funders, corporate partners, and individual major donors — with language appropriate to each audience's decision making criteria.

Success looks like one authoritative document every team member reaches for before every funder conversation — a Case for Support that closes the gap between a compelling mission and a serious investment.
