About the Opportunity

We have developed tangible, sponsorship-ready opportunities, including the Girls Set Go STEM Kit, which provides hands-on technology learning materials, as well as a range of corporate engagement opportunities, including sponsoring STEM Kits, program cohorts and learning tracks, student experiences and field trips, recognition events, mentorship and career exposure, and year-round programming.

Our challenge is not simply identifying companies to approach. We need a clear, repeatable corporate partnership strategy that defines what Girls Set Go can offer corporate partners, how our sponsorship opportunities should be structured and packaged, which industries and companies are the strongest fit, appropriate sponsorship levels and partner benefits, and how prospects should be cultivated from initial outreach through partnership, stewardship, and renewal.

The volunteer will develop a practical Corporate Partnership & Sponsorship Strategy and tools Girls Set Go can use to build, activate, and grow corporate relationships. We are seeking a volunteer with experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorships, corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, business development, or nonprofit fundraising.

The volunteer will:

Develop a corporate value proposition and partner messaging for Girls Set Go’s STEM programs and STEM Kit for use in outreach, presentations, and proposals.
Design a sponsorship architecture with recommended levels, opportunities, and partner benefits across STEM Kits, program cohorts and learning tracks, student experiences and field trips, recognition events, mentorship and career exposure, and year-round programming.
Create reusable sponsorship tools, including a sponsorship package framework, partner benefits matrix, and activation recommendations.
Define target corporate sectors and prospect criteria and create a framework for prioritizing strong-fit companies.
Develop an outreach and cultivation strategy, including messaging templates, engagement touchpoints, and pipeline stages from prospecting and outreach through activation, stewardship, renewal, and expansion.
Recommend non-financial and employee-engagement opportunities, including volunteer coaching, mentorship, speakers, career exposure, workplace experiences, and in-kind support.
Develop a partner stewardship and impact-reporting approach that demonstrates the value and impact of corporate support and supports long-term partnership growth.
