About the Opportunity

Youth Empowering Society is preparing to launch the first Y.E.S. Academy cohort serving 10–15 Cleveland young adults ages 18–24. Our 90-day program provides life-skills education, financial literacy, technology training, mentoring, and career readiness. We have developed substantial program, outreach, sponsorship, and campaign materials, but we need an experienced marketing strategist to turn those separate materials into one practical system that produces two immediate results: qualified participant enrollment and sufficient sponsorship support.

Our minimum sponsorship target is $9,000, with a full goal of $15,000. We also need referral partners who can consistently connect eligible young adults to the program. The challenge is not a lack of ideas or materials; it is converting community awareness into measurable action. This project will support the first cohort while establishing a repeatable approach for future cohorts and the broader “One Million People Know Y.E.S.” movement.

By the end of the project, the volunteer will deliver a focused recruitment and sponsorship-conversion strategy that Y.E.S. can implement with its existing team and materials. Deliverables will include:

1. Clearly defined audiences for participants, referral partners, sponsors, and community supporters.
2. Core messages and calls to action tailored to each audience.
3. Recommended outreach channels and a practical follow-up workflow.
4. A 30-day action sequence that can begin whenever Y.E.S. is ready, without dependence on fixed campaign dates.
5. A sponsor-conversion pathway supporting the $9,000 minimum and $15,000 full goal.
6. A participant-recruitment pathway supporting enrollment of 10–15 Cleveland young adults ages 18–24.
7. Recommendations for website and social-media conversion points.
8. Weekly performance measures for inquiries, referrals, applications, enrollments, sponsor prospects, commitments, and funds secured.
9. A concise implementation handoff showing responsibilities for the Executive Director, outreach team, and website support.

The volunteer should evaluate, organize, and strengthen Y.E.S.’s existing materials—not create another disconnected collection of collateral.

Organization Mission

Youth Empowering Society strives to serve as many young adults as possible with the resources we have available-every individual is important to our organization and we will not discriminate against anyone. By offering services that are concentrated on serving those less fortunate and addressing the greatest needs of our target community, we can make a positive contribution in helping the people we work with lead a more fulfilling life.
