Grant Prospect Research

We need assistance researching and identifying grant and philanthropic funding opportunities aligned with our digital programs serving underserved, marginalized, and disabled patients and their support networks. We are based in Chicago but can apply for national grants. We do not currently have a compiled, prioritized prospect list to guide our fundraising outreach.

The volunteer will deliver a spreadsheet of 15–20 grant and philanthropic prospects relevant to our programs, with each row including funder name, primary contact or program officer (where available), application deadlines or typical funding windows, typical award size or giving range, eligibility or geographic restrictions, and a 1–2 sentence fit rationale explaining why the funder is a good prospect for our work. We are looking for a volunteer with Grant Writing expertise to research funders, verify contact and eligibility details, and compile the prioritized prospect list.
