About the Opportunity

Our fundraising operations rely heavily on manual effort from a small, stretched team. Prospect research, donor communications, grant tracking, and follow-up are time-intensive and inconsistent, which limits how many opportunities we can pursue and increases the risk of staff burnout. We're interested in integrating AI to reduce administrative burden, but we lack the workflow design and practical tools to do so responsibly and effectively.

The volunteer will deliver:

- a current-state map of our fundraising workflow, identifying where manual effort and capacity gaps create the most strain
- a redesigned, AI-enabled fundraising workflow with human oversight built into each stage
- a set of ready-to-use AI prompt templates for tasks such as drafting donor outreach, summarizing prospect research, and preparing grant narratives
- a brief tool recommendation guide and implementation plan to support confident, responsible adoption

Final deliverable: A redesigned fundraising workflow, ready-to-use AI prompt templates, and an implementation guide our team can put into practice.
