About the Opportunity

HFAC is looking for an experienced nonprofit fundraising professional to work directly with our organization to build a fundraising campaign.

We are a growing Maryland 501(c)(3) focused on strengthening families, supporting fathers, empowering youth, and expanding access to opportunity.

We are looking for someone who can bring hands-on fundraising experience and help us identify potential donors, sponsors, fundraising opportunities, and strategies that can generate meaningful support for our programs.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with grassroots nonprofits and wants to make a direct impact by helping us build a stronger and more sustainable fundraising operation.

The volunteer will work directly with HFAC to:

• Develop a practical fundraising campaign and action plan
• Identify and research potential individual donors, foundations, corporations, and sponsors
• Build a targeted prospect list with relevant contact information and giving opportunities
• Develop fundraising and sponsorship outreach materials
• Help create compelling sponsorship opportunities and packages for HFAC programs and events
• Identify additional fundraising opportunities that are realistic for a grassroots nonprofit

The goal is to leave HFAC with a functioning fundraising strategy, qualified prospects, professional outreach materials, and an actionable plan that our team can continue using after the engagement.
