About the Opportunity

Grandmothers’ Village Project seeks a pro bono marketing and communications strategist to develop a sustainable three-month content marketing framework. As an Indigenous-led, volunteer-operated nonprofit serving marginalized elders and intergenerational communities, we need a clear strategy for communicating our mission, projects, advocacy, and community work across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other digital channels.

The goal is to establish a practical communications plan that future volunteers can implement consistently.

The consultant will develop three core deliverables:

A reusable three-month communications calendar with content themes and a recommended posting schedule.

Messaging guidance tailored to GMVP's key audiences, including community members, donors, funders, and potential partners.

Six sample social media posts demonstrating how content can be adapted for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

The completed framework will provide GMVP with a sustainable foundation for future digital communications.

Desired applicants should be familiar with Massachusetts or New England and the regional nonprofit and philanthropic landscape.

This project focuses exclusively on communications strategy and planning, not content publishing or ongoing social media management.
