Grandmothers’ Village Project is seeking to strengthen and diversify our fundraising beyond grants. We need hands-on support with individual giving, donor cultivation, sponsorships, corporate giving, and philanthropic partnerships. We are seeking a pro bono fundraising and development professional who can help us identify and research promising prospects, develop strong fundraising messaging and materials, and actively support outreach and cultivation efforts that can lead to new relationships and financial support.
The consultant will help us:
• Identify and research promising individual donors, corporate giving programs, sponsors, philanthropic partners, and other funding prospects that align with GMVP's mission and work.
• Develop a prioritized prospect list with useful contact and giving information to support immediate outreach.
• Help create fundraising and donor communications, including outreach messages, sponsorship materials, donor appeals, and other materials needed to approach prospective supporters.
• Help develop practical approaches for cultivating and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing supporters.
• Develop a manageable 6–12 month fundraising calendar with realistic priorities, campaigns, outreach, and follow-up activities.
• Help establish a straightforward fundraising and donor-engagement process that future development volunteers or team members can continue.
By the end of this project, we would like to have a strong, prioritized pool of prospective donors, sponsors, corporate and philanthropic partners, along with fundraising messaging and outreach tools that GMVP can begin using immediately to build relationships and diversify our funding.
