Project 1: In-Kind Facility Partnership Pitch Package

Steel Sensation Steel Orchestra Corporation is expanding its youth programs and responding to high public demand for community steelpan instruction in the NYC area. To make this growth possible, we need a host facility that provides indoor space for group/individual lessons, secure storage for steelpan equipment, and outdoor yard/parking space for full-ensemble rehearsals during competition preparation.

We are seeking an in-kind or low-cost facility partnership with a community institution, school, church, or venue. We need a pro bono strategic consultant—ideally with a background in business planning, institutional partnership development, or strategic communications—who can help us articulate our community value, build an institutional pitch deck, and design an outreach package to engage property owners and school/church leadership.

The pro bono consultant will develop a facility partnership proposal package to help us engage potential host institutions. Deliverables will include:

1. In-Kind Partner Value Proposition: A clear framework detailing the mutual community benefits offered to host sites (e.g., hosted youth workshops, joint community engagement).

2. Space Requirements Brief: A concise operational summary outlining our physical space needs (indoor lesson rooms, secure storage, outdoor practice area, and access).

3. Institutional Pitch Deck: Slide-by-slide text detailing our program impact, track record, and facility needs.

4. Outreach Letter Templates: Primary proposal letters tailored to school principals, church boards, and community center directors.

5. Final Handoff Session: Delivery of all editable source files (Word/Google Docs) and a brief review call to prepare our leadership for outreach.
