We don't have a professional, easy-to-share format for communicating our impact to donors and stakeholders. We're looking for a pro bono consultant with report or brochure design expertise to help us create a polished 20 year impact report, up to twenty pages, in a digital format we can share widely.
The engagement will occur in four phases over four to five weeks. Our first session will be a brainstorm, where we will discuss the key metrics and information we would like to highlight. In our second session together, you'll give us a preview of the preliminary design, and we will provide feedback. We may need one or more additional feedback sessions before our time together culminates with you providing us with the final deliverable in a working format that we could edit in the future and a digital format we can easily share with our stakeholders.
Our ideal volunteer has experience designing brochures or reports and will be prepared to show us their portfolio of design examples.
This project supports our mission by helping us grow in visibility and sharing with the world through our website and social media the impact that our small but mighty organization has achieved over the years (20 years to be exact this year). It will be our first impact report and be a catalyst to capture the impact over the past two decades and create a system to help us continue to provide evidence of our impact in the lives of orphaned children in African countries for years to come.
We'll share our logo and visual branding guidelines with you. We will provide the data for the report as well as stories we'd like shared.
By the end of this project, we'd like a designed impact report, ready to share with donors and stakeholders. The consultant will:
- design a report layout that reflects our brand and organizes our content and data clearly
- incorporate the copy, data, stories, and images we provide
- deliver the report in both an editable working file and a share-ready digital format
We expect a few rounds of feedback as the design comes together.
