The National Institute for Play (NIFPlay), founded by renowned play scientist Dr. Stuart Brown, is the central hub for the science of play. Speaking is one of the most powerful ways we share that science with the world, and our CEO, Mia Sundstrom, has quickly taken off on the speaking circuit. She has spoken on major stages around the country and the world, including the World Expo in Osaka and, most recently, TEDxTemecula.
To keep this momentum, Mia needs a professional speaking highlight reel. Top speaker bureaus, agencies, and major global stages expect one before they book, and right now we don't have one. Without it, we risk missing opportunities that would bring the science of play to far larger audiences.
We do have raw material: footage from speeches, panels, and podcasts, plus photos from events like the Osaka Expo. What we lack is the editing, storytelling, and production expertise to shape it into a polished, compelling reel. As a small, growing nonprofit, we don't have this skill set in-house or the budget to hire it.

The consultant will create a professional speaking highlight reel that captures Mia's expertise, stage presence, and energy, compelling enough for top speaker bureaus and major global stages.
Deliverables:
An approximately 2-minute primary highlight reel, edited from Mia's existing speech, panel, and podcast footage, with event photos where they strengthen the story.
Captions, licensed music, and clean titles consistent with NIFPlay's branding.
A modular structure and editable project files, so new footage, such as her upcoming TEDxTemecula talk, can be added later.
Ideal volunteer: an experienced video editor with a strong storytelling eye, ideally with experience producing speaker reels, sizzle reels, or promotional videos.
Timing: we'd love to complete the reel within the next month, the sooner the better, but quality matters most and we'll allow the time needed.
