LOI Draft for General Operating Support

We are Scrutineers, a young 501(c)(3) seeking grant funding for general operating expenses and for a potential multi-year grant to hire an executive director. Several foundation opportunities we've identified require a Letter of Inquiry (LOI), and we do not yet have a concise LOI tailored to foundation reviewers that clearly states our purpose and funding needs.

We are looking for a volunteer with Grant Writing expertise to draft a concise Letter of Inquiry (LOI) tailored to foundation funders requesting general operating support, with language that can be adapted to make a multi-year case for hiring an executive director.

Organization Mission

To educate, train, and mobilize nonpartisan election scrutineers to ensure all voters can vote, and all votes are counted accurately, in order to increase voter confidence and achieve and sustain a thriving democracy in the United States.
