Mali Kalanso (malikalanso.org) has supported education and community-led programming in rural Mali, West Africa since 2010.
This is principally a content / copywriting project. We are in need of moving our 7-page site from an outdated Squarespace template to a new Squarespace template that we have already identified.
We are looking for a volunteer to help migrate the content and bring a fresh editorial eye to shorten, enliven and polish our copy, as well as help select updated photos for brand consistency. Our logo is established and we have recently developed collateral to help guide content messaging. We are also able to share a couple of reference websites for look and feel we are striving for. We are seeking help with this project because the Executive Director wears all the hats and this project keeps getting relegated to the bottom of priority list. As we are seeking institutional funding and are trying to expand our individual donor base, updating our website has become a greater priority.
Total Project Scope: All 7 pages (including home page) successfully moved to the new Squarespace template with copy edited and polished, and the site ready to launch. Timeline: we are aiming for late November/early December.
