About the Opportunity

My organization is Peace for Every Pet, a nonprofit that will provide low- to no-cost in-home end-of-life services to pets and their families in the Kansas City area. Our website copy and social media text are currently in English only. We need those existing materials translated into Spanish so the same content is available in Spanish. There is a large Spanish-speaking population in the communities we will serve, and we want it to be clear that we are here to provide services to EVERY pet, even if we don't speak the preferred household language.

The volunteer will deliver fluent Spanish translations of our current website copy and a set of sample Spanish-language social media post phrases we can use. We are looking for a volunteer with professional Spanish translation expertise to produce clear, natural translations of our existing English content.

Organization Mission

Peace for Every Pet was founded to provide low- to no-cost in-home end-of-life veterinary care to qualifying families in the greater Kansas City Missouri area. Specifically, we will provide fair market value appointments to families at 200% of the federal poverty line or higher to help fund low and no cost appointments to lower income families and their pets. We will partner with local animal welfare organizations to become a part of the network of support for lower income families. We believe all families deserve access to high-quality end-of-life care for their pets, regardless of geographic or financial obstacles.
