Graphic design for PNC's Jr. Naturalist Program

Placer Nature Center’s Jr. Naturalist program helps kids age 6-12 explore local nature through an activity booklet. The booklet currently has 22 pages and 10-15 activities, but it relies on clip art and AI-generated illustrations and doesn’t capture the wonder of the program. We’d like illustrations that make the activities more engaging and easier for kids to follow. We have a logo and brand colors, and our staff can provide the booklet text and activity descriptions.

5-10 original illustrations for selected booklet activities, in a style we agree on
Illustrations as editable source files and print-ready files (PDF or PNG)

Completed illustrations for our activities or an improved program booklet. For example, one of the activities includes illustrations of animals in a food chain, labeling plant parts, the water cycle.
