About the Opportunity

International Ally Federation (IAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping people build allyship, define their wellbeing, and take charge of their health. Our programs and monthly newsletter are strong initiatives to meet our mission, but our social media presence and outreach have been run without a consistent content calendar or a clear link to fundraising.

What is getting in the way is capacity. We have not had a dedicated person to turn our program stories and newsletter content into regular campaigns, to engage our community online, or to support fundraising asks. We are looking for a volunteer with nonprofit marketing experience who can work with our Program Director within outreach team to carry out campaigns, not just plan them. Time commitment is approximately 5 hours per week, fully remote.

By the end of the project, we want a working campaign, social media calendar and newsletter marketing rhythm that our team can continue after the engagement ends.

The volunteer will create and carry out:

1. A content calendar covering our social media channels and monthly newsletter promotion

2. At least one fundraising-focused campaign, messaging for the campaign. It will be supported by our fundraising team.

Success looks like a growing and more engaged audience, and a simple playbook that volunteers or staff can keep using.
