International Ally Federation (IAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping people build allyship, define their wellbeing, and take charge of their health. We offer programs such as Health Compass, a tool that helps community members and providers assess and visualize health needs, and Ally Talks, a wellness talks education membership. For Ally Talks which is a new program we want to produce a video for public audience.
What is getting in the way is that we don’t have video content. Our work is explained mostly through text, flyers, and our monthly newsletter, which makes it hard for community members, partners, and potential funders to quickly understand what we do and how to access it. We have no one on the team with video planning, filming, or editing experience, and no consistent look for video. We are looking for a volunteer with video production experience, ideally with nonprofit or health communication work, to help us tell our story on camera (or other methods like sketching or animation) and build a small library we can keep using. Time commitment is approximately 5 hours per week, fully remote, flexible. Please share your resume or previous work links when writing your interest statement.
By the end of the project, we want a small set of finished and on-brand videos.
The volunteer will create:
1. One mission and impact video (about 2 minutes) for our website, partner outreach, and grant and donor presentations
2. Three to four short program explainer clips (30 to 60 seconds), for example on Health Compass and Ally Talks, formatted for social media.
Success looks like polished videos we are proud to share with community members, partners, and funders. Videos could use animation or motion graphics
