The Professional Cheerleaders Foundation (PCF) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit uniting current and former professional cheerleaders, dancers, coaches, and choreographers through philanthropy, community service, and sisterhood.
As part of our national expansion, we are establishing local chapters led by volunteers who organize charitable activities, build alumni connections, and promote our mission of "Creating Impact Beyond the Sidelines."
We currently have chapters in Orange County and San Diego, California, and envision expanding into additional cities nationwide.
We need help developing a standardized, easy-to-follow process for recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and supporting volunteer chapter leaders. As a volunteer-led organization, we want to ensure each chapter operates consistently while retaining flexibility to organize activities that meet the needs of its local community.
By the end of this project, we would like a National Chapter Leadership & Volunteer Onboarding Toolkit that enables PCF to establish and support local chapters consistently.
The consultant will:
Develop a Chapter Leader role description outlining responsibilities, qualifications, expectations, and estimated time commitment.
Create a Chapter Leadership Interest Form to identify prospective chapter leaders.
Develop a standardized chapter leader selection and onboarding process.
Create a Chapter Launch Checklist covering leadership appointments, member outreach, events, communications, and reporting.
Draft a Chapter Operations Guide outlining volunteer responsibilities, event coordination, use of PCF branding, and communication with national leadership.
Establish a simple process for chapter leaders to submit event updates, photos, volunteer activities, and monthly impact information.
Recommend a manageable communication and support structure between national leadership and local chapters.
Success means PCF has a practical, repeatable framework for launching new chapters and empowering volunteer leaders without requiring extensive oversight from national leadership.
PCF will provide existing organizational policies, chapter information, and leadership input.
