About the Opportunity

The Professional Cheerleaders Foundation (PCF) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit uniting current and former professional cheerleaders, dancers, coaches, and choreographers through philanthropy, community service, and sisterhood.

As PCF expands nationwide, we are developing a coordinated volunteer structure that supports national initiatives and local chapter activities while minimizing administrative demands on our volunteer Board.

We are seeking an experienced volunteer management professional to help us establish practical systems for two categories of volunteers:

**National Committee Volunteers:** Members who serve as committee chairs or committee members supporting Foundation initiatives, fundraising, membership engagement, communications, and other national programs.

**Local Chapter Volunteers:** Members who participate in chapter-organized community service projects, fundraising events, outreach, and other local initiatives.

Our Board governance and chapter leadership frameworks are being developed through separate projects. This engagement will focus specifically on recruiting, onboarding, organizing, and retaining volunteers who serve within those established structures.

We need a scalable, easy-to-maintain approach that clearly defines volunteer responsibilities, matches members with opportunities, establishes communication procedures, and encourages long-term engagement.

Our goal is to empower volunteers nationwide while maintaining consistent organizational standards and supporting our mission of **"Creating Impact Beyond the Sidelines."**

By the end of this project, PCF seeks a National Committee & Local Volunteer Management Toolkit with practical resources for recruiting, onboarding, coordinating, and retaining volunteers nationwide.

The consultant will:

Organizational Chart: Show how the Board, national committees, chapter leaders, and local volunteers connect.

Role Descriptions: Define responsibilities for national committee chairs, committee members, and local volunteers.

Committee Template: Create a standard template for committee purpose, membership, assignments, and reporting, aligned with PCF's governance structure.

Volunteer Survey: Identify members' skills, interests, availability, and preferred volunteer opportunities.

Recruitment & Onboarding: Develop recruitment guidelines, welcome materials, orientation procedures, and checklists.

Communication: Establish simple procedures for volunteer coordination, assignments, and reporting.

Volunteer Tracking: Create a basic spreadsheet to manage volunteer interests, assignments, and participation without tracking individual hours.

Recognition & Retention: Recommend strategies and templates to encourage ongoing engagement.

Implementation Guide: Provide instructions and editable templates for independent management.

Success: PCF has a scalable, easy-to-maintain volunteer system supporting national initiatives and local chapter activities.

PCF will provide existing policies and organizational information. This project excludes Board governance, chapter leader onboarding, and ongoing volunteer administration.
