Mercy of God Mission International manages complex, dual-location operations—overseeing community outreach drives in Houston, Texas, and ongoing site development for our 4-acre Goshen Hub in Namayingo District, Uganda.
What is getting in the way of progress:
With physical construction, volunteer management, and partner relations expanding rapidly, our executive leadership is managing administrative workflows across multiple unstandardized channels. We need to streamline our operational processes, document core standard operating procedures (SOPs), and establish unified administrative tracking tools.
How this consultant will help:
We seek an Operations or Administrative Support Specialist to review our day-to-day workflow, create standardized administrative templates (e.g., meeting logs, project tracking boards, volunteer rosters), and document clear SOPs. This will allow our executive team to maintain structure and operational efficiency as our programs scale internationally.
The project deliverables will include:
Administrative Operations Assessment: A workflow review evaluating our current administrative channels, scheduling tools, and project tracking processes.
Standardized Operational Templates: A suite of easy-to-use administrative templates, including project status trackers, volunteer onboarding rosters, and meeting action-item logs.
Administrative SOP Manual: A clear 3-to-5 page Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guide outlining best practices for document organization, task delegation, and internal administrative communications.
What success looks like:
Success means establishing a structured administrative backend that reduces executive overhead, improves operational tracking across both Houston and Uganda projects, and provides a clear administrative framework for future staff and volunteers.
