About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled social media strategist and content creator to help us plan our short form video content for the first quarter of 2027.

We already have a content planning spreadsheet built around four content pillars: Thank, Update, Educate, and Ask. We also have someone who comes in to record video content and a virtual assistant who schedules and publishes our posts.

What we need is someone who can bridge the gap between our overall social media goals and the actual content we need to create.

You will use our existing spreadsheet and four content pillars to develop a practical, organized video content plan for January through March 2027. For each video idea, you will identify an example of the type of video we could create, explain how we could adapt the concept for Tulsa Period Pantry, and write a caption ready for our virtual assistant to use.

The goal is to give our team a clear plan for what to record, how to approach each video, and what to say when publishing it.

Our pillars are:

Thank: Recognize donors, volunteers, partners, and the people who make our work possible.

Update: Share organizational progress, program updates, milestones, and what is happening behind the scenes.

Educate: Teach our audience about period poverty, menstrual health, access to period products, and the impact of our work.

Ask: Invite people to donate, volunteer, share our work, support our programs, or take another meaningful action.

1. Q1 Video Content Plan

Develop a thoughtful mix of short form video ideas for January, February, and March 2027, using our existing spreadsheet and ensuring all four content pillars are represented.

2. Video Examples and Creative Direction

For each proposed video, find one examples of existing social media videos that demonstrate the concept, format, hook, or storytelling approach.

Include the video link in our spreadsheet along with a brief explanation of:
How we could recreate the concept specifically for Tulsa Period Pantry.
The suggested opening hook or on screen text.

3. Ready to Use Captions

Write a caption for every planned video that fits Tulsa Period Pantry's voice and purpose.

Captions should be ready for our virtual assistant to use, with a clear message and a relevant call to action when appropriate. Include suggested on screen text or a video hook separately so the recording and publishing process is straightforward.

What Success Looks Like

At the end of this project, Tulsa Period Pantry will have a complete Q1 video content plan in our existing spreadsheet, with video concepts, example links, adaptation notes, and ready to use captions. This is 12 ideas for each month for a total of 36 pieces of content.

Our video recorder will be able to use the plan to capture the content, and our virtual assistant will be able to publish it without having to come up with the ideas or write the captions herself.

This project will help us build a more intentional and sustainable social media process while allowing our small team to focus on carrying out the work.

By helping us tell our story more consistently and strategically, you will help a growing nonprofit connect with more supporters and work toward a future where access to period products is not a barrier to education.
