We need to establish a structured grant fundraising program for 2027. Rainforest Partnership must identify and prioritize foundation and grant opportunities that align with our conservation work in Ecuador and Peru, including Indigenous-led community initiatives, women’s economic empowerment, biodiversity research, and rainforest conservation, so we can pursue funding opportunities in a coordinated, calendar-driven way.
We are seeking a volunteer with grant-writing expertise to research opportunities and produce practical planning materials for our 2027 grant program.
The volunteer will:
- Deliver a prioritized list of relevant foundations and grant opportunities aligned with our Ecuador and Peru work, with each entry listing eligibility requirements, typical funding ranges, application deadlines, and links to application guidelines.
- Produce a practical 2027 Grant Calendar that identifies priority opportunities, submission deadlines, and recommended preparation timelines for each priority.
- Create a checklist of grant application materials our organization should have ready, covering organizational descriptions, program summaries, budgets, financial reports, impact data, and supporting documents.
- Provide initial recommendations and example reusable grant application language and materials (for example, program description and impact statement snippets) to make future applications more efficient.
