We need a systematic partnership development strategy to increase adoption of The Mind Initiative's mental and brain health curricula by schools, school districts, youth-serving nonprofits, and other institutional partners. We currently do not have a defined, repeatable approach for identifying and prioritizing prospective partners, understanding institutional decision-making and approval processes, positioning our programs to meet partner needs, or converting initial outreach into formal adoption and implementation opportunities.
We are looking for a volunteer with Business Development expertise to help us create a repeatable, institution-facing approach to partnership generation and conversion.
The volunteer will:
- Deliver a practical institutional partnership development strategy that defines target partner types, criteria for prioritization, and recommended engagement approaches tailored to schools, districts, youth-serving nonprofits, and similar institutions
- Provide a prioritized framework for identifying target institutions and the decision-makers relevant to curriculum adoption, including segmentation and prioritization criteria
- Produce a partnership outreach toolkit with ready-to-use messaging and proposal materials to support initial outreach and follow-up conversations
- Create a step-by-step roadmap with measurable milestones and suggested next steps to move from outreach to formal adoption and implementation of our curricula
