About the Opportunity

My goal is to create a fundraising plan to begin building the first birth center in Queens, NY to be a model of intergenerational health and wellness. Our goal is to serve as a blueprint of care to be replicated in other communities. We would like to work with a specialist to review our capital campaign idea to raise $10,000,000. Our theme is Miracle on 34th Street : Building a Birth Center encouraging individuals and businesses to join us along the fight to end maternal health. Our goal is to launch as soon as possible to allow ample time for reaching our goal. On Christmas Day we plan to do a live count of our fundraising total at the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

By the end of the project I will have an actionable plan to implement the capital campaign and also be able to track success and acknowledge moments when to pivot to meet campaign goals. We would have a workable plan to be shared with the board with tasks that can be shared amongst them to make a successful capital campaign strategy.
