American Music Institute (AMI) manages social media content for multiple programs, including AMI, American Youth Chamber Orchestra (AYCO), Chicago Violin Competition (CVC), and GigHubb Chicago. We create content to promote music education, introduce faculty, highlight students and musicians, and share upcoming events and enrollment opportunities.
However, managing content across multiple programs and platforms can be time-consuming. We need a more organized and consistent process for planning posts, creating graphics, maintaining brand consistency, and managing content from idea to publication.
We have already developed social media strategies and published content across our platforms, but we would benefit from a centralized content calendar, reusable templates for regular posts, and a clearly documented workflow for planning, reviewing, approving, scheduling, and publishing content.
We are seeking an experienced volunteer to help us build a practical, sustainable system that saves time, improves consistency, and allows our marketing team to manage social media more efficiently.
By the end of this project, we would like to have a practical and sustainable social media content system that our marketing team can use to plan, create, and publish content more efficiently across AMI's programs.
The pro bono consultant will help us develop the following deliverables:
Three-Month Content Calendar: A detailed, reusable three-month social media calendar with planned content topics, content categories, recommended posting dates, platforms, calls to action, and status tracking.
Reusable Social Media Templates: Branded Canva templates for recurring posts, including faculty spotlights, educational tips, student achievements, program promotions, events, auditions, and announcements.
Implementation Guide: Simple documentation explaining how our team can maintain the calendar, reuse templates, and follow the workflow independently.
Success will mean having a three-month content plan ready to implement, a library of reusable post templates, and a clear workflow that reduces planning time, improves consistency, and helps us promote American Music Institute (AMI) and its programs more effectively. The system should be practical and manageable for our marketing team to maintain after the project ends.
