A medical team can prepare for a surgical camp. A hospital can open its doors. But helping children reach care also takes people willing to stand behind the work, month after month.
Amigos Internacionales works alongside medical teams and hospital partners in Uganda to help children receive surgical care their families may otherwise struggle to access. Our Next 100 initiative invites 100 people to give $100 a month to help sustain this work.
We need an experienced fundraising communicator to help people understand the need, trust our approach, and take a meaningful next step. We have real field photography, a Next 100 landing page, newsletters, free book resources, and existing Mailchimp welcome journeys. What we need is a clearer, more compelling connection between that interest and an invitation to give.
This is not a request to start from scratch or write a strategy that sits on a shelf. We want practical improvements to the materials we already use, grounded in real stories and respectful of the children and families we serve.
Your words could help someone see beyond an ad or email to the child and family behind the need. We will provide existing materials, verified program information, approved photographs, and direct access to our president.
By the end of this project, the volunteer will deliver a ready-to-use Next 100 fundraising communications package:
-Revised copy for our existing Next 100 landing page, with a clear story, trust-building information, and an invitation to give $100 a month. Make the message easy to understand on a phone.
-A review of the relevant existing Mailchimp welcome journeys, followed by revised copy for up to three messages connecting interested readers with our medical-camp work. Preserve each signup's original promise and consent. Improve existing journeys rather than creating competing sequences.
-One campaign appeal email and one follow-up email, plus a short guide showing where each piece belongs and how to measure the response.
Success means approved copy that clearly explains the work, uses verified facts and dignified storytelling, and makes the giving invitation easy to understand. Include one practical test with defined measures, such as visits to the giving page and completed monthly gifts. We do not expect guaranteed donations.
This project covers fundraising messaging, not Ads bidding, payment settings, or a website rebuild. A separate technical project addresses Ads and tracking. Notion is our source of truth. Begin by reviewing existing materials, and obtain approval before publishing or sending anything.
