As an executive director both directed by and expected to support the board of directors, I am facing sow challenges carrying out these roles. There are governance functions that can be strengthened and streamlined for greater efficiency and effectiveness but reluctance to adopt those changes. Especially in today’s environment, boards must function at the highest levels. I am looking for suggestions to foster adoption and implementation of resources and tools to strengthen governance and compliance.
